James graduated with a degree in Building Surveying from Brighton University in 1999 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2003.

Having spent the early part of his career at Bray Building Surveying gaining experience in residential repairs and refurbishment work etc. he moved to Mitchell Price Chartered Surveyors in 2001.

During his period at Mitchell Price, James was responsible for the delivery of numerous key projects under his direct control, whilst additionally having involvement within a team of consultants in other key instructions.

In particular James was responsible for the design, specification and administration of a £ million refurbishment project of a luxury family home in Holland Park, including cost control and negotiation of the final account.

James joined Cardoe Martin Limited in June 2006 and works closely with Philip Stapley, Director, in servicing commercial and residential surveys, dilapidations, party wall matters and project work.
